Tablescape: Fall Harvest Globe Tablescape

I can’t believe that fall has arrived! Wasn’t it just spring, and didn’t summer just start?!!! But with the coming of fall is a more regularized scheduled, it is easier to ask my friends over for dinner and fellowship. Check out this fall harvest globe tablescape for ideas.I decided to use twiggy wooden round chargers on my bare wooden dining room tabletop because the brown wood color recalls the colors of fall.  I also used four woven wooden squares I found in a craft store on my cream dinner plates for additional fall color. For even more color and texture coordination with the other items, I used wooden napkin rings and brown pine cones in the centerpiece. Then to brighten the tablescape, I used open wire orange pumpkin candlesticks and orange taper candles, and orange and olive green cloth napkins. I put the olive green napkin on the outside at one angle and the orange one on the inside at the opposite angle and then pulled them through the wooden napkin ring. Fluff the two napkins so that the two colors show up when you lay them on the dinner plate. Next to the napkin which is lying on the wooden square, I placed a second wooden napkin ring which holds the flatware for eating. Then I placed a fall harvest ice globe I found at the Christmas Tree Shop. No, it isn’t snow that is falling on the harvest scene–it’s sparkling glitter. I thought these globes would make perfect gifts for my guests to remind them of our good times together. Happy Harvest to you and your friends!Happy Harvest to you and your friends! Enjoy!
