Party Plan: Making a Party Inventory

posted in: Party Plans | 0

If you have been thinking about the parties you might give throughout the coming year, you might find that making a party Inventory will also make your entertaining more efficient  and easy. If you know what party supplies you have on hand, you will be ready at a moment’s notice to party!

There is no right or wrong to what you have in your party inventory. You need to decide how many people you are likely to entertain at dinner in your home. How many people can sit at your dining room table? Do you ever serve at your family for Thanksgiving or Christmas? All these things will help you determine how many of each items you might need. For example, if you don’t drink, you will not need all the barware suggested.

If you don’t have china or stoneware dishes or glassware, you may certainly use melamine or acrylic drinkware. There is no reason not to be casual.

Figure out what items you have and what you think you need. On your inventory list, make certain to list where all these things are stored, so you don’t have to look for them at party time.
